
Tara Webb is a theatre artist with an MA in Visual Culture from New York University. Since 1998, she has collaborated with theatre companies as well as individual creators in many different capacities. Tara is a close confederate of Collapsable Giraffe, designing costumes for productions of 3 Virgins, Bend Your Mind Off, Witch Mountain, Black Tarantula, and performing in Letters from the Earth. Other recent designs include a sequence of video clips from famous cinematic death scenes for Koosilja Hwang's deadmandancing, costumes for Cynthia Hopkins' Accidental Nostalgia and Must Don't Whip 'Em, costumes for Theatre of a Two-Headed Calf's Kabuki-style production of George Bernard Shaw's Major Barbara, costumes for Trey Lyford and Geoff Sobelle¹s acclaimed production of allwearbowlers, and costumes for the Flying Carpet Theatre's production of Lilliom, which debuted in Atlanta at Seven Stages. Tara also worked for six years as the costume and video assistant for the Wooster Group. She most recently designed video for Lisa and Todd D'Amour's production of Stanley 2006, which debuted at HERE Arts Center.
