Accinosco is a collective of performing artists, designers and musicians dedicated to creating groundbreaking original works that meld music, text, technical and theatrical design, and video with unbelievable fact and outrageous fiction. Accinosco is Jim Findlay, Cynthia Hopkins, Susan Oetgen, Jeff Sugg, and the members of Gloria Deluxe: Kristin Mueller, Josh Stark, Philippa Thompson, and Karen Waltuch; as well as a roster of collaborating artists which includes Jason Boyd, Jim Dawson, Curtis Hasselbring, Ben Holmes, Jamie McElhinney, DJ Mendel, Brooke O'Harra, Annie B Parson, Jony Perez, Reut Regev, Jordana Che Toback, Peter Warren, and Tara Webb. The ensemble has created two full length multi-media performance works - Accidental Nostalgia and Must Don't Whip 'Um, which are conceived as Parts I and II of The Accidental Trilogy - and is currently embarking on the creation of Part III: The Success of Failure (or, The Failure of Success).

Accinosco emerged through the creation of their seminal and acclaimed work, Accidental Nostalgia, which premiered in March 2004 at St. Ann's Warehouse (Brooklyn, NY) and has since been performed at On the Boards (Seattle, WA); the Walker Art Center (Minneapolis, MN); the Philadelphia Live Arts Festival (Philadelphia, PA); the Society for the Performing Arts (Houston, TX); and the Wexner Center (Columbus, OH); and the Andy Warhol Museum (Pittsburgh, PA). The creation of Accinosco's second work, Must Don't Whip 'Um, was produced by St. Ann's Warehouse and supported by co-commissioners including On the Boards, the Philadelphia Live Arts Festival, and the Walker Art Center, where Must Don't Whip 'Um premiered in January 2007. Must Don't Whip 'Um has also been presented at St. Ann's Warehouse, the Wexner Center, On the Boards, and is scheduled to be performed at the Philadelphia Live Arts Festival, and Carolina Performing Arts at Chapel Hill.
