Brooklyn-based trumpeter Ben Holmes moved to the city in 2001, and quickly became an in-demand performer on the Eastern-European and Jazz scenes. He performs with numerous ensembles, including Slavic Soul Party, Romashka, and One Ring Zero. He also leads his own quartet and quintet, playing original compositions.
